  1. Nordic 3.11 is a small windows program that generates TWO 1 pic codes
  2. for TWO one-pic cards that emulates a Sat-tv smart card.
  3. It enables you to type in new keys with the remote if and 
  4. when they are changed by the tv stations.
  5.  
  6. On the EC-S card is: Canal+, Animal Planet and TV-S and on the Ec-M card the 
  7. other channels.
  8.  
  9. It has room for 4 keys for TV3, 4 for TV1000. 9 for Canal+, TV-S, Animal Planet 
  10. or any other EC-S channel in the 00 2B XX serie, 1 for CTV (Ec-M) TV2 N ,
  11. NRK and the TV2 N soccer key . 
  12. All are remotupdatable and possible to overwrite except the keys for TV2 N 
  13. and NRK.
  14. A key that is already working can't be overwritten.
  15. ID-s are possible to exclude on the EC-S card for that purpose the remote is used with xxx7,
  16. as default 00 2B 20, 00 2B 40, 00 2B 80 and 00 2B A0 are excluded, the command for 
  17. this is: 3527, 1107 will enable all ID-s
  18.  
  19. How to update the channels:
  20. Tune in to the channel you want to update.Choose Access/change code and then Access control/New secret code.
  21. Type in the first group of four digits, you might get an answer like 
  22. wrong code. Don't bother it's OK. If you are requested to type the code
  23. once more, do so. Continue with the next code until all seven are done.
  24. The picture will be back in a few seconds.

  29. TV6, 3+, VH-1, Z-TV, Nickelodeon, BBC Prime, TCC, Discovery, MTV, Sci-fi, 
  30. Cartoon Network, Eurosport Nordic, CNN, Animal planet, TV-S (that probably 
  31. has ended there transmissions when you read this) , NRK1, NRK2 and TV2 N

  35. Nordic 3.11: Fixed a bug that made ini-files unreadable after getting fetched 
  36. by some browsers.

  38. Nordic 3.10: Added a key editor to the shell so that keys can be updated
  39. in the PC rather than whith the remote if you have difficulties doing this.

  43. Nordic 3.04: Some bugs in the shell du to the adding of jm-bin fixed. have 
  44. taken away the hash error message again since it caused a lot of problems.

  47. Nordic 3.03: Added JM-bin format to the windows shell, fixed a bug that caused 
  48. some receivers not to switch from the EC-S card and some fixes for the hash 
  49. error message. Also changed the default filenames to make it a bit easier if
  50. you put a lot of them on your hard drive.

  52. Nordic 3.02: Added OSD message "Hash error" or "Smart card error 5" when the 
  53. present key needs to be updated. Added working keys for C+ and TV-S.

  55. Nordic 3.01: Fixed the problem that Id for CTV in EC-S were sent that caused 
  56. problems on Macab, Triasat and Pace. Added the keys for C+, Tv1000 and 
  57. possibly TV2 soccer, also some changes in the reset routins.

  67. it to work together with C+.

  69. Nordic 2.34: Three keys for Tv3 08, and two others. Only one for CTV Ec-M 
  70. though. More Pace fixes, no special mode any more, just lock it in Ec-S or 
  71. Ec-M. Fixed a Macab bug as well.

  73. Nordic 2.33: Replaced the TV 3 08 key with the 0C key. Also added Pace 
  74. autoswitchmode to make the card lock in EC-M mode but still recognise the
  75. EC-S channels.

  77. Nordic 2.32: Added the key for Canal+ in Ec-S and Ec-S capability, it took a 
  78. lot of space and there is now only 2 keys for TV3 and TV1000.
  79. The code is very heavily rewritten and this really should be concidered as a 
  80. beta version so if it doesn't work on your receiver, bad luck, if you tell me
  81. though I will try to fix the problems.

  90. This also overcomes the problem with the access menu on Luxor/Nokia 
  91. that I promised to fix in 2.14.

  94. Nordic 2.18: Added routines for testing the 88-command to get away with the 
  95. intermittent scrambling that occurs on some Macabs, it will probably happen 
  96. some time still but I hope it's 1000% better:-) TV3 0B key added.

  98. Nordic 2.17: Patched version of 2.16, not by me.

  100. Nordic 2.16: The keys for NRK and TV2 N soccer added. It now doesn't force
  101. a reset when Macabs ask for the EC-S key but answers the correct way. Some 
  102. more fixes in the I/O-routines as well.

  104. Nordic 2.15: Bug in 2.14 that caused problems on Luxor/Nokia fixed (I hope)

  106. Nordic 2.14: Added the new keys for TV1000, TV3 and TV-S.
  107. Made some more room so that one more key could be fitted for Filmnet,
  108. also made some cleanup and preparations for the NRK key. I had promised 
  109. both my self and others that I would fix the access menu problem on Nokia 
  110. but that space is now used for other things:-( Will see in the future if 
  111. it can be done.

  113. Nordic 2.13: Fixed the problem on some newer Nokia/Luxors with the mac3
  114. code so now only one version is needed (no seperate code for
  115. Nokia/Macab) Made room for either NRK, Sportkanalen or the TV2N football
  116. key if one of these keys should become known. Had to take away FN key 09
  117. and put TV2N in the program area to do this though:-(

  119. Nordic 2.12: More fixes for losing channels on Mac3-s and Philips.

  121. Nordic 2.11: Bug that erased channels in the Mac3 version fixed, 
  122. four keys for Filmnet also in the Mac3 ver.

  124. Nordic 2.10: Remote update also for TV3 and TV1000, this didn't allow for
  125. all the known keys to be stored but 4 for TV1000 TV3 and Filmnet (3 for 
  126. Filmnet in Mac3 version) and two for the CTV package, one for TV2 N
  127. All are remoteupdatable but the number of possible keys will vary a bit 
  128. depending on which keys are used.

  130. Nordic2.0 (Nordic+): Got room for all the TV3 and TV1000 keys! I was very 
  131. confident that Viasat couldn't overwrite keys in there own cards, 
  132. (unfortunately this was wrong), so I did not attempt to make any remoteupdate
  133. facility for these channels.

  135. Nordic1.0: Stole MM1.6x from Stegen (thanx) and replaced the autoupdate 
  136. for the French channels with more keys for TV3 since there was a huge
  137. interest for this in Scandinavia.
